"One may try at the few private hospitals that are administering Covishield doses or just wait till Tuesday," a senior Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) official told.
The civic body plans to administer the second doses of Covaxin at 11 centres including New Vejalpur UHC near Jivraj Bridge, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya hall at Bodakdev, Tagore hall in Paldi and Chandkheda community health centre in the western part of the city.
"Special vaccination drives were organized across various municipal zones including for 300 autorickshaw drivers in South West zone, nearly 14,000 traders, shopkeepers, industrial cluster workers and offices across the city," said a senior AMC health official.
AMC officials claim that they may have to wait for fresh vaccine stocks for two days before they can organize cluster vaccination drives.
"We plan to reach out to offices, housing societies only if we get enough stock," added the AMC health official.
