Monsoon Session of Parliament LIVE Updates: Both the Houses of Parliament  witnessed stormy scenes after the Opposition raised slogans and placards on the Pegasus snooping row and farmers’ issue on July 27, two days after the proceedings were disrupted on July 23. Both the Houses were repeatedly adjourned. Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day as protests by Opposition members
continued. Earlier in the day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi drove a tractor to the Parliament in solidarity with the farmers. The proceedings began with both the houses paying tributes to the martyrs of Kargil War to mark the Vijay Diwas. The Houses also congratulated Mirabai Chanu for the silver medal on Day 1 of the Tokyo Olympics. The ruckus, however, returned as Opposition members stood up and started sloganeering in both the Houses. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon, then till 2 pm and then again till 3 pm while the Lok Sabha was first adjourned till 2 pm and then till 2:45 pm. In the Lok Sabha, The Factoring Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2020, The National Institutes of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management Bill, 2021 are listed for discussion today. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to introduce The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2021. In the Rajya Sabha, The Marine Aids to Navigation Bill, 2021 and The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Bill, 2021 are listed in the business for July 26. The Parliament  were adjourned on July 23 after ruckus by the Opposition. The same day, Trinamool Congress MP Shantanu Sen was suspended from Rajya Sabha for the remaining part of the Monsoon Session for snatching and tearing the 'Pegasus Project' statement from the hands of Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, a  day before. Congress MPs staged protest near the Mahatma Gandhi statue inside Parliament complex and senior party leader Rahul Gandhi demanded Union Home Minister Amit Shah's resignation over the Pegasus issue. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya spoke in Lok Sabha on Centre's COVID-19 vaccination policy before the House was adjourned.  The Centre had listed 17 new bills for introduction in the session that began on July 19 and will continue till August 13. The session is the first after the COVID-19 pandemic's second wave wrecked havoc in the country.
