The IMD said that heavy rains are expected over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and West Uttar Pradesh during July 26-28, while Punjab and East Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive rain on July 27 and 28. Heavy rain is also likely in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on July 27 and 28.

Whereas, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of Delhi on Tuesday. During this time the wind speed can remain up to 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. For this, an orange alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department.
Rain warning in these states during next 24 hours
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain over Northwest Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, North Odisha, and West Bengal. With this, heavy rain may occur in some places.
Light to moderate rain at one or two isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Chhattisgarh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Konkan & Goa It may rain heavily. Light rain with one or two places very likely over Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, parts of Telangana, rest Odisha, Rayalaseema, and Lakshadweep.
