Mumbai, Jul 26 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday gained 102 points to reach 53077 in opening session on buying in FMCG, Finance, Health Care and Industrials stocks.
The Nifty too rose by 25 points to reach 15,881.35.
The Sensex registered the intra days high and low at 53,103.42 and 52,783.63 points respectively.
The Nifty registered the intra days high and low at 15,893.35 and 15,797 points respectively.
The Mid Cap and Small Cap moved up by 0.41 and 0.82 per cent respectively.
In 30 scrips, 20 advanced while 10 declined.
The gainers were Bajaj Finserv by 1.61 per cent to Rs 13413.30, Titan by 1.60 per cent to Rs 1727.90, Infosys by 1.19 per cent to Rs 1609.30 and NTPC by 1.18 per cent to Rs 119.90.
The losers were Maruti Suzuki by 0.86 per cent to Rs 7227.70, SBI by 0.85 per cent to Rs 425.50, Reliance Industries by 0.56 per cent to Rs 2093.50 and HDFC by 0.51 per cent to Rs 2471.50.
