A man has died in a tragic accident after scaffolding fell on him at a football game in Queensland.
The 37-year-old Bridgeman Downs man was watching a football match at Mitchelton Football Club in Brisbane's north on Sunday when the scaffolding collapsed and crushed him.
Paramedics attended the incident shortly before 12:30pm and the man was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with critical head and chest injuries.
He was pronounced dead soon after arrival.

Football Queensland released a statement saying the remainder of football activities at the club's Teralba Park were cancelled for the rest of the day to allow for investigations to be carried out.
'Football Queensland will be providing counselling and support services to the family of the individual involved, club members including players and coaches, referees and volunteers, and those who witnessed the incident,' the statement read.
Mitchelton Football Club released a statement on Monday morning telling members they'll be kept informed of developments while they work with Football Queensland and authorities.

'The Club has made a decision to suspend all football related activities until Wednesday 28th July. Training will not proceed on either Monday or Tuesday.
'We ask that everyone respect the decision and also the privacy of players, coaches, friends and family impacted by the incident,' the football club said.
Queensland Police are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with footage or information to contact authorities as a report is prepared for the Coroner
