Corona cases drop in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

AHMEDABAD: After three days of continuous rise in new Covid-19 positive cases, Gujarat on Sunday recorded a 23% drop - from 39 to 30 cases - in 24 hours. Ahmedabad, that recorded 10 cases on Saturday, halved the cases at five on Sunday.
Dahod district recorded the most number of cases at six, followed by five from Ahmedabad, and three each from Surat city and district. Out of 33 districts and eight municipal corporations, 26 recorded zero cases, and nine one case each.
In 24 hours ending 5pm on Sunday, 42 patients got discharged, taking the number of active cases to 330. Ahmedabad district has the highest 80 active cases, followed by 51 in Vadodara and 28 in Surat. Out of 33 districts, only eight have more than 10 active cases. On Sunday, Morbi became fouth district to have zero active Covid cases.
