Chandigarh, Jul 25 (UNI ) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the people of the country through the edition of 'Mann Ki Baat' program and State BJP President Ashwani Sharma at his residence with the leaders of Ludhiana BJP gathered to listen to the direct dialogue being made with them.

On this occasion, Ashwani Sharma while congratulating the Indian players for winning medals for India at the Tokyo Olympics said let us all together encourage all our players to participate in the Olympics and give our best wishes so that they win more medals for India. Make India proud in the world .
Mr Ashwani Sharma, while saluting the brave sons of Mother India who laid down their lives for the country on 'Kargil Vijay Diwas', said the whole world salutes the might of Indian forces and this is a symbol of courage and valour in the Kargil war, in which our many brave soldiers of Punjab sacrificed their lives and kept the national flag of the country high by defeating Pakistan and hoisting the tricolor on the peaks occupied by them. The country will always be indebted to him. He called upon everyone to all together pay homage to those heroes of Kargil on July 26.
Ashwani Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country who directly communicates with the people of the country , no Prime Minister has ever done this before. He said we can keep all the main messages given by him closely to protect society.
