The Ministry of Business Innovation, and Employment chooses software company Link4 as one of the four access point providers to accelerate its e-invoicing adoption. The adoption of e-invoice could add $4.4 billion to the NZ economy in over ten years, the company says.
After conducting an extensive process to provide the best e-invoicing access point options for New Zealand government departments and agencies, the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE) has chosen Link4 as its preferred partner for e-invoicing adoption.
Link4 CEO Robin Sands says e-invoicing will be great for New Zealand's economy. “This pre-approved panel will allow agencies to make a decision and implement a solution in a simple and efficient way," Sands says.
All central government agencies in New Zealand must adopt e-invoicing by 31 March 2022. Link4 estimates that adoption in New Zealand could add $4.4 billion to the economy in over 10 years.
Link4 says it has extensive experience working with the government. It noted that their services are notable in the Tasman and Australian government agencies.
It has secured large and small departments including the Treasury, the Department of Industry, Science, Energy, and Resources (DISER) and Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) to name a few.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) companies such as TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft have picked Link4 due to its extensive track record.
"We were the first access point provider to work with TechnologyOne's CiAnywhere solution. While they are able to easily process e-invoices, Link4 is needed to ensure TechnologyOne systems connect to the Peppol network," claims Sands.
The open syndicated agreement covers a buyer’s guide which enables agencies to identify over the four access point providers’ offer and their costs. They will select their preferred provider and begin to discuss specific implementation and ongoing requirements.
