Two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones lost her first-round match with Kimia Alizadeh at the Tokyo Games.
Jones was aiming to become the first British woman to win Olympic golds at three consecutive Games after securing back-to-back titles in London and Rio.
However, she was stunned 16-12 by Alizadeh of the Refugee Olympic Team.
