Dreaded gangster Sheikh Hyder succumbed to the bullet injuries sustained in an encounter with Odisha Police. The encounter ensued when Hyder tried to flee from the police custody during his transfer from Cuttack to Baripada jail. Police took injured Hyder to Balasore Hospital where he died of injuries.
