Rampur, Jul 24(UNI) Five people were killed on the spot and a woman was injured in a head-on collision between a car and a speeding tanker near Ajitpur village on National Highway 24 on Saturday.
Police said that the victims included a woman and four men. However, their identity was not revealed yet though the police have recovered three damaged mobile phones.
The car was on the name of one Rahul Bhati . The driver of the tanker fled from the spot after the accident leaving his vehicle.
