Unexploded bomb sparks chaos: M62 is shut, homes evacuated and no-fly zone is set up after builders unearth WWII munition on new housing estate

A major incident has been declared with roads closed and no-fly zone instated after a live World War II bomb was discovered on a new housing estate.
The 500lb explosive, which is set to be safely detonated by ordnance experts later today, was uncovered by construction workers at The Greenways housing development in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire.
A large police cordon has been set up around the device, with parts of the M62 and nearby roads shut as the ordeal looks set to ensure travel chaos for much of today.
Humberside Police said neighbours in Rawcliffe Road have been asked to evacuate the area 'as a precaution'.
Residents living in the immediate vicinity have been advised to remain indoors, while businesses within the cordoned off area have been asked to temporarily close.
The east and westbound carriageways of the M62, between J35 and J37, alongside a section of the A614, have been closed since 8pm on Friday, July 23.

A statement on Humberside Police's website read: 'Colleagues from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, who have been onsite since late last night, have now confirmed that the device is live and are making plans to safely detonate the bomb within the next 24 hours.
'All persons in the immediate vicinity have been evacuated as a precaution.
'Those living or staying in the wider immediate area are asked to remain indoors from 8pm this evening.
'Businesses within the cordoned area will be asked to close until the works have been completed.
'Road diversions will be in place across all affected roads from 8pm this evening. For drivers using the M62, visit the Highways England website.'
