The district on Friday reported 16 fresh Covid cases, which pushed the tally to 63,052. Of these, three cases were reported from other districts. With the one Covid fatality reported today, the district toll has increased to 1,490. As many as 61,471 persons have recovered from Covid in the district, while the number of active cases in Jalandhar is 91.

2 cases, no death in Kapurthala

Kapurthala today reported two fresh cases and no Covid fatality. The number of positive cases in the district now stands at 17,724.

No case, death in Nawanshahr

No case and death was reported in Nawanshahr on Friday. There are only four active cases in the district out of which three are under home isolation. The district tally stands at 11,422.
