MUMBAI: Ever since Sonam Kapoor Ahuja recently came back to India from London, there have been a couple of reports doing the rounds suggesting that the actor is expecting her first child.
Reacting to such rumours, Sonam, who got married to businessmen Anand Ahuja in May 2018, took to her Instagram Story and stated that she is still getting her periods. For the unversed, the missed period is considered as the most obvious early symptom of pregnancy.
“Hot water bottle and ginger tea for the first day of my period,” she posted on Instagram Story. Along with it, she uploaded a short video of her having a cup of ginger tea.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam will be seen in ‘Blind’. She was last seen in the 2019 release ‘The Zoya Factor’. She also had a cameo role in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s ‘AK vs AK’, which had released on Netflix last year.
Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif resumed shooting for their upcoming outing ‘Tiger 3’ today. The actors are up for a physically challenging shoot that will push their bodies to the limit.
The shooting is taking place at the YRF Studios in Mumbai. “The new schedule of Tiger 3 has started today in Yash Raj Films Studios. It is a closely guarded set and one can expect no picture to leak from here. Salman and Katrina’s fitness will be tested in this schedule as well as the extensive overseas schedule that is set to start from mid-August,” a source said.
The source added, “Salman teased his physique in Tiger 3 on his social media and it is evident that he is building the best body that he has ever showcased on screen. Katrina, on the other hand, has been keeping an extremely low profile with hardly any revelation of how good she is looking currently. There’s a reason for this also. She has worked like a beast to be her fittest best and people will have to wait to see her fittest best on-screen when Tiger 3 is set to release.”
Looks like Salman and Katrina are set for some breath-taking action sequences. “It will be intense for these two actors because director Maneesh Sharma has planned some jaw-dropping and hugely risky action sequences that will truly test their overall fitness levels when they start their overseas schedule. Of course, Salman and Katrina are game for it and ready for any challenges to be thrown at them. It will be a fun schedule,” the source further said, teasing what’s in store for the movie buffs.
For the unversed, ‘Tiger 3’ is the third film in the successful ‘Ek Tha Tiger franchise’. Actor Emraan Hashmi will play the role of a villain in the upcoming movie. A few days ago, he had also shared a picture of his chiselled physique, hinting that it’s his new look for ‘Tiger 3’.
The upcoming film will mark Emraan’s maiden collaboration with YRF, which is producing the flick. ‘Tiger 3’ will have Salman reprise his role of R&AW (Research & Analysis Wing) agent Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger, while Katrina will be seen playing the female lead.
The first film of the popular franchise called ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ came out in 2012 and was directed by Kabir Khan.
MUMBAI: After the 2014 Bollywood film ‘Happy New Year’, actor Sonu Sood and choreographer Farah Khan have teamed up again to work on a new song.
Reportedly, the song is touted as one of the lavish tracks of the year.
Also, Sonu will essay the role of a farmer-turned-cop in the song. “This song will be something very different from anything that I’ve ever shot before. It’s always wonderful to work with Farah,” Sonu, who will feature in the music video, said in a statement.
Farah Khan has choreographed the song, which was shot in Punjab a few days ago. Meanwhile, Sonu is busy helping the needy amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Singer Shilpa Rao, known for her hit songs like ‘Ghungroo, Kalank, Subhanallah is once again reuniting with maestro A.R. Rahman for a song titled ‘Phuljhadiyon’ from upcoming Netflix movie MIMI featuring Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi.
The two musicians had collaborated earlier for romantic dance track ‘Ishq Shava’ from ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, the song had unique soundscape of music for their fans. Shilpa Rao spoke to The Daily Guardian about her experiences working on it.
Shilpa Rao shares,” It is always an immense pleasure to collaborate with A.R. Rehman sir. I had first met him for a shoot and we spoke about about ghazals and eventually did our first song ‘Ishq Shava’ together. It was an iconic huge song because of Yash Ji and Gulzar Sahab, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films were all in one. That’s when AR Rahman sir said that hearing my voice transported him to Egypt and couldn’t believe if it was me or Amar Mahal singing. That was a huge compliment for me and the next day itself I got a call for recording our latest released song ‘Phuljhadiyon’.
She further adds, “It was fun recording at his studio. As a woman, you connect with song as it talks about what a women goes through on this journey of becoming a mom. I feel, it’s high time women should start talking about it, because we never knew what our mothers went through the process of giving birth. The transition and fluctuations that your body goes through. This song address that and perfectly takes us through this journey of birth giving. I would like to dedicate this song to all the women out there.”
