Bengaluru, Jul 24 (UNI) Karnataka government on Saturday allowed reopening of religious centres and amusement parks from July 25 (tomorrow) in the wake of a significant drop in the number of Covid cases in the state.
Places of worship such as temples, mosques, gurudwaras and other religious centers are allowed to open. But the restrictions on fairs, temple festivals, processions and crowd gathering will continue, Revenue department principal secretary Manjunath Prasad said in an order.
Amusement parks will be opened but water sports or water-related activities will not be allowed, the official said.
Adhering to Covid-19 guidelines is mandatory during the visit to places of worship and amusement parks, he added.
