Eight new Covid cases detected in Vadodara

Vadodara: Eight new Covid-19 cases were detected in the city and district on Friday. The new cases were detected from 1,442 tests conducted in the 24 hours ending on Friday evening.
With the new cases, the total number of Covid-19 cases detected in the city and district now stands at 71,846. Out of these 71,188 patients have been discharged including nine on Friday while 623 have passed away since the beginning of the pandemic.
After the nine persons being discharged on Friday, 35 active Covid-19 cases remained in the city and district. These include three on ventilators or BiPAP machines and six on oxygen support.
