Miguelina Hernandez Garcia, on the other hand, will be looking to win her first Olympic medal. She was named Junior Female Boxer of the Year by Dominican Boxing Federation in 2017 and won bronze at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
“My goal is to win the elusive Olympic gold medal. And I hope my last Olympics turns out to be the most memorable one and I can inspire people and bring some joy in these challenging times,” Mary Kom had told The Times of India ahead of the Tokyo Games.
