Proteas captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and chose to bat first in the third and final T20 International against Ireland at the Stormont Cricket Club on Saturday.

South Africa lead the three-match series 2-0 after some heroic bowling by World No 1 T20 bowler Tabraiz Shamsi.

However, Shamsi and star opener Quinton de Kock were rested for the dead-rubber game, which sees Andile Phehlukwayo and Reeza Hendricks earn places in the XI for those two, respectively.

Batsman Rassie van der Dussen is replaced by Heinrich Klaasen in the middle order, while George Linde and Lizaad Williams also earn a start. Lungi Ngidi and Janneman Malan also sit out as part of the five Proteas changes.

Ireland made two changes to their team, bringing in Barry McCarthy and Ben White for George Dockrell and Josh Little.
