Barabanki, Jul 24 (UNI) Four pilgrims on their way to a temple were killed, while 18 others were injured when their tractor-trolley collided with a truck near Baddriuddinpur village on Dewa road in the district on late Friday night.
Police here on Saturday said Santosh(30), Virendra(25), Chotu(35) and Maya Devi(50) were killed in the accident.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his grief over the death of people in the accident and directed the district authorities to provide adequate treatment to the injured.
All the deceased were the native of Bagulapara village in Sitapur and were going to Majitha Naag Devta temple in Barabanki.
