DBC Maram organises 'One day interaction programme with Th Joykumar Singh'

Senapati, July 23 2021: The Department of Commerce, Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram, Manipur in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Cell of the college organised a "One day interaction programme with Thangjam Joykumar Singh, Managing Director, Thangjam Agro Industries Pvt Ltd" on July 22 through virtual platform.

The interaction programme was conducted with the aim to promote entrepreneurship among youth especially among the students of Don Bosco College, Maram.

The programme commenced with the invocation of God's blessings.

Fr Dr K O Sebastian, the Principal of Don Bosco College, Maram welcomed the guest and the participants.

He spoke on the importance of 'Commerce' subject and entrepreneurship in his welcome address.

Thangjam Joykumar Singh shared his experience and struggles as an entrepreneur.

He emphasised on the importance of skill and dedication in becoming a successful entrepreneur.

He highlighted the advantages of becoming an entrepreneur and he encouraged the students to venture into entrepreneurship by utilizing the untapped resources available in Manipur.

He opined that the future of entrepreneurship in Manipur is very bright and have good prospects.

He advised the aspiring entrepreneurs not to give up half way and work diligently to become successful.

Th Joykumar Singh enthusiastically answered all the questions raised by the students during the interaction.

The interaction programme concluded with words of gratitude from Dr Namram Minorca Chanu, Head Department of Commerce and coordinator of Entrepreneurship Cell, Don Bosco College, Maram.
