President Kovind, Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi, other leaders extend wishes to participants ahead of Tokyo Olympic

NEW DELHI: President Ramnath Kovind on Friday extended his warm wishes to the Indian participants representing the nation at the Tokyo Olympics.
He took to Twitter and wrote, "An entire nation’s hopes and prayers are with the Indian contingent at the #TokyoOlympics. I convey best wishes to you all on behalf of all Indians. I am confident that you all will excel, win laurels and make our country proud. #Cheer4India".

Later, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, also sent out his greetings to the Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, for oganising Olympics during an on-going pandemic. His tweet said, "Wishing PM @sugawitter and Flag of Japan the very best for #Tokyo2020 @Olympic and @Paralympics. We look forward to a season of incredible performances by the world's best sportspersons! @Tokyo2020."

Former Congress President, Rahul Gandhi, also joined the thread and took to Twitter to extend his support. He tweeted, "All the best to Indian athletes participating in #Tokyo2020. The pandemic has rendered these Olympic Games one of a kind. Please stay safe. You have all our best wishes."
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani group, also came forward to show his support to the Indian team going to Olympics.

Spiritual leader, Sadhguru, extended his support to the Sailing team of India and tweeted, "My Best Wishes to the Indian Sailing Team at the #Olympics - Varun, Ganapathy, Vishnu & Nethra, you have done the Nation proud with your record debut. Wish you every Success at The Games. Blessings. -Sg @VarunThakkar100 @nettienetty #Cheer4India #Tokyo2020."
Even earlier he had wished Indian team via Twitter.

Twitter was later flooded with wishes from people all over the country. They showed their support and wished "good luck" to the Indian team representing India at Tokyo Olympics.
The Tokyo Olympics will commence from 23rd July. India is being represented by its largest ever contingent of 127 athletes at the Tokyo Olympics, which also includes the highest female representation of 56 sportspersons.
