According to 9to5Mac, a new WhatsApp for iOS call interface is currently being rolled out after being briefly tested with beta users. The new interface makes it simple to add extra individuals to an ongoing call, and it looks a lot like FaceTime in terms of how it displays all call participants.
After a brief beta phase, WhatsApp for iOS’s now calling interface is now available to the general public. People who have installed WhatsApp’s beta version on their iPhones have had access to these updates. The new calling interface, however, was not generally available until recently.
The new calling screen displays all of the call participants and makes it easier to add new ones. Users can ask others to join, and they can even call the person again if they did not accept the offer the first time. The good thing is that if you opt not to participate in a group call for a short period of time and then open WhatsApp again, you can rejoin if the call is still going on.
If you want to immediately join the call without having to ask the other participants for a new invitation, the app will inform you. This change is included in WhatsApp version 2.21.140, as is the new way the program handles archived chats, which we previously reported on. When you’re crafting a message, the app will also offer sticker choices. Keep in mind that these features will be carried out in stages, so not all users will receive them at the same time.
