    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    Zomato Ltd., Tainwala Chem, Jocil Ltd, Asian Hotels (E) and Wendt India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Zomato Ltd., Tainwala Chem, Jocil Ltd, Asian Hotels (E) and Wendt India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 32.0 points up at 15856.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Madhav Copper, Walpar Nutritions Ltd., Keerti Knowledge and AKG Exim Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, ITC, Wipro, SBI Life and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Motors, Grasim Inds., L&T, Adani Ports SEZ and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 138.59 points up at 52975.80.

    Traders piled up positions in Tea / Coffee, Diversified, Tobacco, Industrial Consumables and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Enabled Services, Trading, Construction, General and Shipping sectors during the day.
