DMU to start medico-engg progs in AI, agriculture

Nagpur: The Datta Meghe Ayurvidnyan University (DMU) has received permission to start medico-engineering courses from the current academic year from AICTE.
The Wardha based institution would be starting engineering degrees in artificial intelligence, machine learning, agriculture, computer science and medical engineering, computer science and design, and data analytics. It would also be launching MBA and MCA courses along with distance learning programmes, according to vice chancellor Dr Rajiv Borle.
The deemed university would also be commencing postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Biomedical Engineering where 12 seats each have been sanctioned by the apex body. For MBA and MCA, the intake capacity would be 60 seats each.
“In on-going Covid-19 pandemic, there is a new opportunity for the youth of Vidarbha to study various innovative courses offered by our university,” Borle said.
