Sean Penn Refuses to Return to Work Until All Cast & Crew Get COVID-19 Vaccinations

Sean Penn has given an ultimatum that could possibly delay his return to work.

The two-time Oscar-winning actor has been filming the upcoming Starz limited series Gaslit with Julia Roberts and he refuses to continue working on the project until everyone on set has been vaccinated.

Deadline reports that “Penn has insisted to the production that the vaccination of everyone must be mandatory. Through his organization, CORE, Penn has offered to facilitate the vaccination effort, free of charge.”

NBCUniversal had previously required that everyone working in “Zone A,” which includes the cast and everyone who comes in close contact with them, to be vaccinated. Penn is insisting that every person working on the show gets a COVID-19 vaccination.
