    Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.3% in an upbeat market

    Synopsis

    The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.3 per cent down at 394.75.

    India 10-year bond yield fell 0.34 per cent to 6.13 after trading in 6.13-6.16 range.
    NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:24AM (IST) on Friday in an upbeat market.

    Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.99 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.95 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.94 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 0.72 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.

    Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.38 per cent), DLF (down 1.13 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 0.83 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.32 per cent) and SOBHA (down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

    The Nifty Realty index was down 0.3 per cent at 394.75 at the time of writing this report.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 19.95 points at 15844.0, while the BSE Sensex was up 72.97 points at 52910.18.

    Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

    Shares of Vodafone Idea, SAIL, YES Bank, NMDC and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

    Shares of Zomato Ltd., Tainwala Chem, Asian Hotels (E), Banaras Beads and Kuantum Papers hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Walpar Nutritions Ltd., Madhav Copper and AKG Exim Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
