The Rajasthan government has decided to reopen all schools and other educational institutions in the state from August 2. The government has approved the opening of schools from class 1 to class 12.

Seeing the decrease in the cases of corona infection and in view of the education of children, the Rajasthan government has taken this decision. State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara has given information about this.

It was agreed to open schools and other educational institutions from August 2 in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

The Rajasthan Education Department has said that schools and colleges in the state are closed since March 2021 after the second wave of Covid-19. Even in 2020, educational institutions remained closed for almost the entire year due to Corona Virus. The entire education system shifted to online mode. But children of villages are left behind due to lack of digital devices and internet facility. That is why it is necessary to open schools. Schools are being opened only after seeing favorable conditions.
