SIVASAGAR, July 22: Members of Sivasagar Sports Association, led by its president Punaram Mili, lighted earthen lamps in front of the historic Siva doul on Thursday, and prayed for the success of Assam boxer Lovlina Borgohain who is representing India in the Tokyo Olympic beginning on Friday.

Other senior members of the association Manoj Bhagawati, Subhkaran Sarma, Haren Duwora, Monica Saikia, Prasanta Borthakur, Pabitra Borthakur, Sarat Hazarika, Mrinal Chutia, Dipali Bhattacharjya, Amina Begum, Bidya Patiri, Gita Deori, Nirmala Das, Dipok Taye and Sumeswar Das also took part in the event.
