Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 32.0 points up at 15856.05, while the BSE Sensex closed 138.59 points up at 52975.80.
On the other hand, Zomato Ltd., Tainwala Chem, Jocil Ltd, Asian Hotels (E) and Wendt India stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, ITC, Wipro, SBI Life and SBI were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today's trade.
