Bentley has appointed former McLaren Automotive executive Amel Boubaaya to lead marketing and communications for Europe, effective immediately.
Boubaaya replaces Caren Jochner, who was promoted to head of global brand experience in April.
Prior to joining the Volkswagen Group subsidiary, Boubaaya was McLaren’s head of public relations for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
She joined McLaren in 2012 from Infiniti Europe, where she was communications manager.
Boubaaya, 38, will report to Balazs Rooz, who is regional director for Europe, and Bentley communications boss Wayne Bruce. Bruce joined Bentley from McLaren in 2019.
Boubaaya will be based in Munich, Germany.
Bentley’s Europe region covers 35 countries with 70 retailers, accounting for about 20 percent of the UK-based brand’s global sales.
