Raj Kundra is currently being questioned by the Mumbai Crime Branch for his alleged involvement in production of porn films and distributing them on mobile apps. His firm Armsprime is being dragged into controversy and turns out Poonam Pandey had waged a legal war against Raj Kundra for the same company which had created an app for her too. Earlier this year Poonam had revealed that she had filed a criminal case against Raj Kundra and his associates. Here’s taking a look at the five allegations leveled by Poonam Pandey against Raj Kundra.
02/6‘I was forced and threatened to sign a contract’
Poonam Pandey had previously revealed that her app was managed by Raj Kundra’s company, as she had entered into an agreement with them in March 2019. However, in a recent statement, the actress told ETimes, “I was threatened and forced to sign a contract which stated — I have to shoot, pose and look a certain way according to their will or else, they’d leak all of my personal stuff.”
03/6‘My number was leaked with the message, 'Call Me, I'll Strip for You'’
Poonam has also alleged that Raj Kundra and his associates leaked her personal mobile number with a lewd message, which made her life a nightmare. “When I wasn’t in favour of signing and decided to terminate the contract, they leaked my personal mobile number along with messages like, ‘Call me now, I will strip for you’ on the app. My phone rang non-stop after that. I started receiving calls from all over, not in dozens but thousands, at odd hours, threatening me, asking me for explicit services. People started sending me pornographic images and videos. I even left my home in fear that something bad will happen to me. It felt so scary,” Poonam shared after Raj’s arrest.
04/6‘I was living under constant threats of abduction, rape, murder’
Poonam has previously stated that her right to privacy had been affected because of this massive leak of personal details. She had told BT, “I am living under constant threats of abduction, rape, murder and acid attack. My right to live and privacy has been affected. Just because I am Poonam Pandey, you can’t subject me to this treatment. I am what I am in my world. People can call me controversy’s favourite. I don't have a problem with that, but you can’t disrespect me and threaten my existence.”
05/6‘My pictures and videos were posted on the app despite termination of contract’
Poonam Pandey also claimed that her content was used without permission. She had revealed earlier this year, “I collaborated with the company for an app named after me in March 2019. We had agreed upon a certain percentage of the revenue generated by the app to be given to me. However, I realised certain discrepancies in revenue sharing and hence, decided to terminate the contract. I also informed them about the same via an email. All hell has broken loose since. They continue to post my pictures and videos on the app.”
06/6‘Every girl out there should speak up against Raj Kundra’
Post Raj Kundra’s arrest, Poonam Pandey asked every ‘girl’ out there to speak up against him. “If Raj Kundra can do this heinous crime with me--I am still a known personality--then imagine the kind of trouble he must have caused for the mass people too. How and where do we stop this? It’s really impossible to judge. Hence, I am urging every person, specially every girl out there to raise their voice and speak up, if they are going through something similar too,” Poonam had told ETimes.
