Parul University in Vadodara gets new sports facility

VADODARA: Minister of state, co-operation, sports, youth and cultural activities and transport Ishwarsinh Patel on Wednesday inaugurated new outdoor sports facilities at city-based Parul University (PU).
Adding on to its sporting amenities, PU has developed five volleyball courts, five badminton courts, two kabaddi courts and five net practice pitches for cricket.
Patel appreciated the university for having all its sporting facilities in proximity to the student residential hostel ensuring adequate distribution of sporting resources amongst all the students.
“I am very pleased to see students back at the campus after a long time. We have taken the initiative of developing many of such sporting facilities throughout the campus.
In future, we are coming up with a horse riding sports complex which will be having all horse-related activities along with water sports,” said PU president Dr Devanshu Patel.
