INCM to limit mobile airtime bonus to 50% of face value

The Mozambique National Communications Institute (INCM) has decided to limit, by the end of August, the amount of bonus the three mobile phone operators may offer to subscribers every time they purchase airtime, AIM reported. The regulator's director general, Tuaha Mote, said that mobile companies will not be able to offer a bonus exceeding 50 percent of the recharge amount. A top-up with a face value of MZN 500 can carry a bonus of MZN 250 but no more.
