WhatsApp recently rolled out a new feature that allows its users to join ongoing group video calls. Called joinable calls, the feature aims to ensure that users don’t miss video calls with friends and family just because they were not ready or missed it when the call started. It also offers the option to leave a call mid-way and join back till the call is active. Users will see a “tap to join” option in their call logs if they have missed a group call and it is still going on.
