A brazen mugger stabs and slashes a 51-year-old victim before stealing his electric scooter in a sudden attack in the Sunnyside section of Queens.
The two appear to talk briefly early Saturday on Greenpoint Avenue, near 46th Street.
As the victim prepares to leave, the robber pushes the victim away as he makes a grab for the scooter.
The victim bravely fights back before the mugger pulls out a knife and stabs the man in the center of his chest, then slashes his neck, the New York Post reports.
