(Representative Image)WBCHSE West Bengal HS 12th Result 2021 Highlights: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education will announce the Uccha Madhyamik or Class 12 Board exam results at 3 PM today. After the HS results in the official declaration, the board will activate the links on the official websites-wbchse.nic.in for students to check the induvial scores and download a copy for reference.

West Bengal scrapped the Class 10 and 12th board examinations in early June this year after cancellation demands poured in from parents and students concerned about the health of students taking exams when the Covid cases were surging. The West Bengal CM acting on the feedbacks canceled the exams like other state Boards and CBSE, ICSE. The annual exams of Class 11 were also canceled due to the Covid surge.
The alternative evaluation pattern that the Board agreed on for the assessment of Class 12 students was taking into account the top 4 highest scoring subjects in Class 10 exams along with Class 11 annual exams. Class 10 scores will get a 40 percent weightage and the rest of the 60 percent will have relied on Class 11 finals and Class 12 practical and theory.
The Board recorded 100 percent pass percentage for Class 10 results declared on Tuesday. Also, 90 per cent of the students secured more than 60 percent or more marks. At least 79 candidates got 697 marks out of 700 in the evaluation of this year’s Madhyamik Pariksha.
Highlights
The number of students clearing class 12th exam has increased.
As many as 9013 students secure above 90 per cent marks this year.
A total of 97.70 per cent of boys and girls in the state have passed the class 12 examination.
The pass percentage of boys and girls this year is the same.
A girl from Murshidabad district has achieved 499 marks.

WB HS result 2020 say a pass percentage of 90.13. The pass percentage among the boys stood at 90.44 per cent and girls was “a little over” 90 per cent, said Ms Das while declaring the WB Class 12th result 2020 last year. A total of 84,746 students had scored above 80% in 2020 HS result.
WBCHSE will follow a 40:60 formula. In Class 11-12, For Science students paper is divided into theory (70 marks) and practicals (30 marks). For Humanities, the break up is 80 marks for theory and 20 for projects. To derive the final score, 40 per cent weightage to the best of four subjects in Class 10 Madhyamik exam in 2019 and 60 per cent weightage to the annual Class 11 theory exam held in 2020 plus Class 12 practicals or projects, for Science and Arts respectively.
“All the Heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or their authorised representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution Camps from 11.00 a.m. onwards on 23/07/2021 and issue the same to concerned guardians/candidates as early as possible maintaining proper protocol and social distancing,” an official statement said regarding collecting mark sheets from the Board

Step 3: Enter your registration number on the admit card and submit
Step 4: Your WB Uchcha Madhyamik result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Take a printout of your scorecard for future reference
The Uchcha Madhyamik Result will be declared in a press conference at the Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council at 3 PM. It will be put up on the official website at 4 PM today
