Apple updates the MagSafe support page for MacBooks after four years

In an interesting development on MagSafe, Apple has suddenly updated the Magsafe support page for MacBook which has not been updated since 2016. A Twitter user, Sami Fathi, is the first person who noticed this change, and subsequently, the tweet reveals a great deal about the Magsafe support page and what this sudden update could mean for the MacBooks and Magsafe.

First off, this sudden update confirms that the future MacBooks will come with support for Apple’s MagSafe chargers. The newly updated page clearly describes that if a Mac uses MagSafe 2, the user can use a MagSafe 2 power adapter or a MagSafe power adapter connected with the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 adapter; on the other hand, if a MacBook uses MagSafe, the user can charge their MacBooks with a T style or L style MagSafe power adapter. The Apple Support page also cautions the users to use a power adapter with a proper wattage; the support page also calls for an examination for line noise issues along with examining the plug, MagSafe connector, and cables thoroughly.
