Bengaluru: Mosquito-breeding spots found in 1/4th of houses surveyed
Amid concer ns over vector-borne infections, an ongoing survey by BBMP has found that around 25% of households covered had mosquito-breeding spots in Bengaluru. Of 166 households covered under the Larvae survey, at least 40 had mosquito-breeding grounds, said Randeep D, special commissioner (health), BBMP. The ward-level door-to-door survey is still in preliminary stage. It was taken up by the Palike as a precautionary measure.
