Q. Do scandals and xyz-gates bother you any bit, given that there are so many of them and very little eventually happens?

A. In a ubiquitous digital environment, seeking privacy is illusionary. Data leakage or surveillance of any type etc is a byproduct of that. But in the overall scheme of things, benefits of tech-led enablement of society at large are larger than any deviant behaviour of insignificant magnitude. There is no rationale in getting agitated or perturbed by the same. Having said that, any unauthorised surveillance is unfortunate and I hope there are mechanisms to protect the privacy of individuals.
