The national capital recorded 49 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death due to the disease on Thursday, while the positivity rate dropped to 0.08 per cent. The single new fatality has pushed the death toll in the city to 25,040, according to the latest health bulletin. The number of Covid cases has shown a downward trend in both Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad this July, with the districts recording a positivity rate of about 0.1%. Currently, the state’s positivity rate is around .04%.
