Share price of MRF rises as Nifty strengthens

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 9.52 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:40PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.22 crore around that time.

The stock of MRF Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 98575.9 and Rs 55360.35, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.81.

Promoters held 27.82 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2021, while FIIs held 19.01 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.72 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4874.2 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, up 3.59 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4705.22 crore and up 30.14 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3745.21 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 332.15 crore, down 51.08 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
