Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) has expanded its GreenLake services in Taiwan to add silicon on-demand and zero-trust cybersecurity solutions.
HPE Taiwan chairman and managing director Jon Wang pointed out that enterprises have become keen on adopting hybrid cloud systems amid increasing demand for more flexible and instantaneous services.
HPE Taiwan's revenues from GreenLake have been rising in the past few years, Wang said.
GreenLake's clients in Taiwan are mostly from the manufacturing, telecom and financial sectors. Since Taiwan's telecom operators have been investing heavily in 5G infrastructure, GreenLake's flexible business model has become a good option for them to save costs.
HPE Taiwan also expects the government sector in Taiwan to be a target for expanding its GreenLake business in the next two years, said Wang.
