TDF installs Wi-Fi hotspots in Arras city centre

French infrastructure operator TDF said that it has deployed six public Wi-Fi hotspots in the city centre of Arras (Pas-de-Calais department). The municipality commissioned the project with the support of Banque des Territoires, part of French state-owned bank CDC. The public Wi-Fi service will provide free connectivity to visitors and shoppers, while collecting usage data via a dedicated platform built by TDF for the municipality.
