Ericsson, MediaTek near 500 Mbps upload in mmWave carrier aggregation tests

Ericsson announced a new upload speed record with 5G on mmWave spectrum. In a test of four-component carrier uplink aggregation with MediaTek, the company achieved a peak throughput rate of 495 Mbps. This included 425 Mbps on 5G New Radio plus 70 Mbps in LTE.
