Mumbai reports 435 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths

MUMBAI: The Maximum City on Wednesday reported 435 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall case count to 7,32,349.
During the day, 560 people were discharged. So far, 7,08,214 people have been recovered.
However, 13 people lost their lives. Till date, 15,730 people from the city have succumbed to the virus.
The active cases now stand at 6,020.
While the city's recovery rate is 97 per cent, the doubling rate is 1,097 days.
BMC has also sealed off 61 buildings in the city to contain the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, there will be no vaccination on Thursday. The civic body informed that the vaccination will resume on Friday after it receives new stock of doses.
