Punjab reports 68 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

CHANDIGARH: Covid claimed three more lives while 68 fresh cases surfaced in Punjab on Wednesday.
In the last 24 hours, one death each was reported in Faridkot, Jalandhar and Patiala. As many as 10 cases were reported in Jalandhar, six each in Bathinda and Ferozepur, five each in Amritsar, Fazilka, Ludhiana, Patiala and Mohali, four each in Faridkot and Hoshiarpur, three in Muktsar, two each in Kapurthala and Sangrur and one each in Barnala, Gurdaspur, Moga, Pathankot, Ropar and Tarn Taran.
In the ongoing vaccination drive, 183,299 people were vaccinated of which 106,616 received the first dose and 76,683 were given the second dose.
