Garage level floor leveling for home gym

    Experts,
In the process of setting up below in my garage
1)Inspire fitness FTX functional trainer (600 lbs)
2)simple squat/bench rack & max of 100 kgs weight plates
    3)Fitness Bench
    4)Adjustable pair of Dumpbells
Available space for my gym : 6x13 feet
Was looking at lot of youtube videos for creating a leveled platform and this one looks much simpler & easier.
Please share your thoughts if any pros or cons of this approach.

Unable to give link here so please just type 'How to level sagging floor in old house using shims, not floor leveler, in home renovation' in youtube. As I am not a heavy lifter, i want to take some simple/quick approach

    thanks in advance
