It does not have the connector to connect to the PC.You can use it for your PC cabinet too, many people do it. You just cut the strip wherever you need it to end.
The "gaming PC LEDs" are the same LED strips in fancy packaging.

Do you have experience in soldering? If yes, you can bypass it. I personally use a local hardware store purchased RGB strip and it comes with a 4 pin header that goes straight to my Motheboard.
