Mumbai, Jul 21 (UNI) Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 8,159 fresh Covid-19 patients and 165 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 62,37,755 and the toll to 1,30,918, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 7,839 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 60,08,750.
The state's recovery rate and the fatality rate remained steady at 96.33 per cent and 2.09 per cent, respectively.
There are now 94,745 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.
