Hero Glamour Xtec; All You Need To Know

The Hero Glamour has been the mainstay of the company in the 125 cc commuter motorcycle segment and Hero figured it is time to spruce up the model in a bid to fend off competition from the newer rivals. Enter Hero Glamour Xtec! Essentially, it is a more tech laden variant of the Glamour and is positioned as the top-spec model in the range as well. The Hero Glamour Xtec gets a bunch of segment first features as well. Here's everything you need to know about the new motorcycle.

Design and Colours

The Hero Glamour Xtec retains the same design as that of the standard Glamour. There are two new colours on offer though - matte axis grey and glossy black. The Glamour Xtec gets a LED headlight as well.

Features

This is where the Glamour Xtec shines. It gets a bunch of segment first features such as a fully digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps connectivity, USB charger, bank-angle sensor and side-stand engine cut-off. The bank-angle sensor shuts off the engine in case of fall by detecting the angle of the bike. Engine

The Glamour Xtec continues to get the same BS6 compliant 124.7 cc single-cylinder motor which makes 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle gets Hero's patented i3s (idle start-stop system) as standard fitment. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

Prices and Variants

There are two variants of the Hero Glamour Xtec on sale. The drum brake variant is priced at ₹ 78,900 while the disc brake variant is priced at ₹ 83,500. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
